I had some narrow windows over the doors of my duplex, and while I appreciated the aesthetic of it, I was always nervous someone could easily look in if they stood on my railing. This was a perfect solution. The light still gets in, but it's less harsh and makes rainbows! While it's not completely opaque, it would be challenging to see inside. It was super easy to apply. I did the windows over my front and back door in seriously less than 10 minutes. I did a small window in my room with the leftover just because it's so pretty....that took a few more minutes because I had to piece together 2 pieces of film, but it was still very easy. It's pretty foolproof. I didn't buy a squeegee or need one IMO. I stuff piece of cardboard was just fine. This stuff does just what it's supposed to.
