Mine has a tiny blemish on the front. It's enough to be irritating, but not enough to return it. The mechanism is properly silent, unlike other 'silent' clocks I've had. No hum or buzz. That's great. The face and hands are easy to see. The light works well. It's easy to set. Negatives: The wood case is literally bare wood, so oily finger prints soak in and mark it. Being an analogue alarm it needs to be set manually each day. This is done with a tiny switch on the back. The switch would benefit from being a bit bigger/easier to find.
