I'm trying to figure out whether an organizer box for some of my tools would fit in it.** A: The main pocket is 15 1/2 “ W from side to side, the base of the pocket is 4 - 4 1/2 W, the height is 14”. When you open the pocket - it opens up to 11” but you have to zip it shut so I would say it could hold something about 7 - 7 1/2” W (again the base is 4 - 4 1/2 “W) so you won’t be able to pack the other pockets throughout full. Hope this makes sense & helps. **Q: How does this rolling bag hold up in rain?** A: We’ll just poured rain here past few days and I take this bag to work. This is a great bag! Just going from home to car and car to work in the rain with this bag is just fine. Material repels water and when zipped up it keeps your personal stuff dry. So no worries with the rain **Q: Will this rolling bag fit underseat in plane?** A: Depends on which seat and which airline. I flew “comfort plus” on Delta to Italy (on partner Alitalia), then same class on a Delta plane back from Paris to the US. I had a window seat both times. The bag didn’t quite fit under the seat (may have been a bit over-packed) on the way there, and didn’t fit under at all on the way back due to some sort of metal box attached to the seat. It fit great in the overhead bin. I traveled without a laptop.
