I initially got it because my roommates hair and my own were getting dried out by our shower (old building) and we attached got this to see if it solves the issue. We've only used it a few times but it does seem to be helping! The installation was really easy (take off showerhead, twist on and then twist the showerhead back onto it).The filter must use charcoal because the first time you turn it on theres a lot of black residue in the water.
