Their large size makes it easy to put through tough materials and they don't bend like the normal pins. The size means that you need to hide them a bit more than the normal clips, but they work much better than gator clips and easier than duct tape for securing down a tablecloth. Material needs to be over-stretched since the size of the pin allows for the cloth to slip about 2 to 2.5," but once secured by these pins it isn't moving. Perfect for people that don't want to use the typical plastic/blend tablecloths and leave out the conventional tape, staples, or clips.
