Can a longer est. 40" hard plastic tube for wand arm be purchased?** A: The hard tube of the watering wand is 5/16" (five sixteenths inch) in outside diameter. It is made of a hard plastic, or maybe a hard polymer would be a more accurate description. Right offhand I don't know where you would purchase such tubing, but I would be a little surprised if it weren't available somewhere. Since it is a sprayer and might be used with almost any chemical, metallic tubing like aluminum, iron, or steel would be inappropriate.
