Review: Another Nilight win - Another Nilight win. This company keeps producing stellar products. From terminal connectors to these bed lights. Installed ridiculously easily. This product comes with a water proof set of lights, water proof button and an inline fuse so now you don’t have to purchase everything separately. The lights connect easily, the only down side is they are not all inline. There is a Y split so one strand can have 2 lights and the other strand has one which was a little disappointing but easily overcome. A reviewer said that the adhesive is only to hold for a little to get the lights up where you want them, but I disagree. They were put up and have withstood multiple car rides and storms and the adhesive is still strong with no sagging. If you want to purchase zip ties or other adhesive though, go for it. I only got the white light option and they are bright enough so you can see but they are not blinding which is a major plus. These lights function extremely well and I even put in a magnet switch so the lights turn on when the tail gate is open, and off when closed. Value for the money is fantastic. I paid 20 bucks for the lights, button and inline fuse. The pack did come with roughly an extra foot of positive and negative wires but I still had to purchase more from a local auto shop which is fine. **If anyone is looking for the Directed Electronics 8600 Micro magnet switch used in ChrisFix’s video, it is no longer on desertcart and can be found at Quality Mobile Video’s website. Thats where I purchased mine and it works great with the system. The solid black wire is the positive and the black/white wire goes to your ground. I can’t recommend this light strand enough. Do yourself a favor and purchase from Nilight. Their products for the value are stellar.

I removed the switch that came with the lights, and replaced it with a magnetic contact switch so they would turn on automatically when the tailgate was opened. You can wire these up in any way you like to switch them. Overall, these lights are great. I'm very happy with them and they've made it much easier to find things in the bed of my truck on dark nights.

Another Nilight win. This company keeps producing stellar products. From terminal connectors to these bed lights. Installed ridiculously easily. This product comes with a water proof set of lights, water proof button and an inline fuse so now you don’t have to purchase everything separately. The lights connect easily, the only down side is they are not all inline. There is a Y split so one strand can have 2 lights and the other strand has one which was a little disappointing but easily overcome. A reviewer said that the adhesive is only to hold for a little to get the lights up where you want them, but I disagree. They were put up and have withstood multiple car rides and storms and the adhesive is still strong with no sagging. If you want to purchase zip ties or other adhesive though, go for it. I only got the white light option and they are bright enough so you can see but they are not blinding which is a major plus. These lights function extremely well and I even put in a magnet switch so the lights turn on when the tail gate is open, and off when closed. Value for the money is fantastic. I paid 20 bucks for the lights, button and inline fuse. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They work great and were relatively easy to install

Updated 12/25: They still work flawlessly and are awesome. Many of the negative reviews I read mentioned the adhesive strip not sticking well, and it doesn’t. That’s not a bug, it’s a feature. The adhesive acts as a second hand for the installer. The adhesive helps to hold long enough to guide and clip the lights. Grant it I have only installed these two weeks ago so longevity may affect my review later and I will update my review as time goes on. But these lights are a much higher quality than what I actually expected for the price. They are brilliant, they are bright, and they were pretty easy to install. I recommend tapping one of your rear taillights for power, as you presumably will have Bly be using them when you headlights are already on. Be sure not to accidentally tap the reverse light in the fixture because you won’t have power unless you are in reverse. No matter how you tap or where you tap for power, you will need either a multi meter (which are expensive) or just get a cheap hot wire indicating tool, I got mine at an auto parts store for $9. The self tapping metal screws make installing pretty simple but don’t over tighten because the clamps are soft like silicone which is also on purpose. I gave this a 5 star because price for quality great. I’m just waiting to see how long they last to report back here. I hope this helps the reader of this review.
