Review: Great blades for cutting thick metal! - I bought two five packs of these blades to cut out and remove 37’ of sixty-some year old 4” cast iron sewer pipes. I cut the pipe into two-three foot sections to make it easier for me to handle it and get it up the steps and out of the basement. I ended up with 9 sections of pipe pieces. I made 5 or 6 cuts with one blade and 2 with another one. The first cut with a new blade took 30-40 seconds and each cut thereafter took a little longer each time as the blade heated up and dulled some. I was surprised at how quickly they cut through the old, thick pipe. I didn’t even have to open the other package. They are amazing! Diablo brand blades are the best.

They are short, so the thickness of the cut is limited, but the description prepared me for that. I will definitely purchase them again (if they ever ware out.
