The only issue I have had with this drive caddy is that the screw driver that is shipped with it does not fit the screws. Not a big deal as I usually use my own tools anyway. Other that that, it works great in G8, G9, G10. **Q: Does it work for DL360 Gen 9?** A: Yes, I bought them for DL360 Gen9 Server and DL20 Gen9 Server. The drive carrier tray caddies fit and worked fine for the past 6+ months. **Q: Can i put an ssd in these?** A: So I just bought the "FireCuda" SSD 2.5" and it works for my HPE gen 9; however, the LED does not work. However, if you are planning to use the tool provided with the screws provided, you can’t. I had to run and purchase a star driver to use the screws, as the star driver that came with the product was too large. I purchased 8 of these as once, and observed the same issue with all 8 drivers and 32 screws. Had I not planned on relying on included driver and been in a time crunch, there would have been no issue.
