Plus, I found a good deal on the older model. Personally, I wouldn’t consider using one of these planters indoors, especially the older model. They are messy! The Meiwo planter is larger, has much better pockets that hold more soil and has a satin like fabric layer on the back of the felt that helps reduce water movement towards the outside rear. If hung on a wooden fence it would be less likely to cause water damage. The older model is just one layer of felt. I do have a suggestion for making these easier to water. Add drip irrigation! You can see adjustable droppers in the photos, but I have ordered some 1/2 gallon per hour drippers to replace them. I just could not get the water flow equal and slow enough with the adjustable drippers. All I did was cut a slit in the back of the fabric and pulled the drippers thru. Watch out for your fingers! I sliced one with the scissors. I wish I had thought of this BEFORE I planted the strawberries. It would be really nice if the manufacturer would sew in a buttonhole that could be opened or not depending on their watering plan.
