I have tried almost everything to improve my sleep cycle from traditional herbal medicine to heavy-duty sleeping pills, but nothing worked for me - herbal stuff just simply didn't do anything, sleeping pills would knock me out but I would not stay asleep and next morning I would have a heavy headache. Eventually I discovered that melatonin is a hormone our body generates when it's time to fall asleep and instructs our body to stay asleep while this hormone level is high, and the low levels of this hormone can cause insomnia. And most importantly that you can actually regulate your melatonin levels by taking it in the form of pills or gummies like these. I have tried and it worked wonders. Now I take about 1.5mg of melatonin every evening and have a perfect all-night sleep! Note that it does not work for all, some have adverse reactions and can't sleep at all, so "your mileage may vary".Now let's talk about this specific product. I tried both pills and gummies, and pills don't work for me as well as gummies. They take longer to dissolve and absorb, while with gummies I'm feeling sleepy already in 10 mins. Also, with gummies I have an option to cut them into smaller pieces to have a lower dosage. I strongly advise you to start with a lower dosage and gradually increase by 1mg until it works for you and then stop, higher dosage will only cause you to feel sleepy the next morning. For me the perfect dosage is 1-1.5mg, so I cut these gummies in half. I tried these gummies for a couple of nights, and they worked perfectly, just like another brand that I was using for the last year. They smell good and taste good like berries, they are soft and easy to cut in half, dissolve in your mouth quickly and provide 8h of good night sleep.I really can't complain about anything, except its price. At the time of this review the price was around $30 and I don't understand where this high markup comes from. They are no better than other 5mg melatonin gummies I buy for $6-$7 and work the same. Β Another issue is that its brand is called "SkinnyFit", so I was under the impression that it's diet-friendly and maybe this explains the high price. But no, just like other gummies I tried, it contains 3 grams of sugar per serving (2 gummies), if you are on a low-carb diet like Keto, it might be an issue for you. I'm on Keto myself but because I use only 1/4 of a serving size it gives me only 1 gram of sugar, which is OK.
