It is not professional grade by any means, but it is fine for an occasional welder. The material in the helmet is a bit too light and flexible for my taste, but functions well. You have to assemble the head support into the helmet, which takes some tinkering and is a bit of a pain. So long as you are careful in using it, this helmet will hold up. The auto-darkening feature is light years ahead of the "old school" dark glass visors. It does the job. The gloves are very good.
