Review: Great Pack, excellent price - This pack served us well traveling to and hiking in Montana. They’re right at the limit of carryon size (slightly over the way we filled them) but had no trouble fitting into the overhead compartment on both a United Boeing 727 and a united airbus a319. There was plenty of room for a week of clothes, medicine and a few accessories. While hiking with these packs, I especially appreciate the design keeping the pack off my back so I don’t have a big sweaty spot. The perforated bit heavily padded mesh straps are also a big selling point in that they are comfortable, plush, and cool with their LARGE perforations that allow an appreciable amount of air to flow through the straps, cool your shoulders and prevent sweat buildup by allowing sweat to evaporate. I like the four LARGE pockets, the dedicated hydration pouch and the two medium sized pockets on the comfortable and plush waist belt. It’s clear this pack was designed by people who actually hike and has evolved over generations of testing.

This pack served us well traveling to and hiking in Montana. I absolutely love this pack. It’s incredible comfortable, adjustable in three different ways. I appreciate how it keeps your back cool with the very functional mesh panel. All zippers work well and the various compartments are well designed. The water bottle pockets are super deep so nothing falls out. This is a huge improvement upon prior models of this daypack. I hiked the coast to coast trail across England using this backpack and it was perfect. I was able to take it on the airplane and put it under my seat as a personal item, but it just barely fit. The frame makes it fairly tall. Highly recommended!
