I have the DeWalt DCS438. I cannot speak for any other mini grinder, because the one I have is the one I have. This wheel really does not want to squeeze under the safety guard of my specific tool. The only way I could make it work was to put it in backwards. Once I put in in that way, it did the job perfectly...I just had to work at funny angles, is all. And hey, I may find out there is a quick way to remove that safety guard to put this thing in, which will alleviate even this compatibility issue. Just beware that if you are running my exact tool, you may have a compatibility issue with this wheel. I assume it fits a slightly different Bosch 12v angle grinder. I guess mine is the European version. Would be nice if they just said that on the page instead of making people guess and search through pages of manuals to try and figure this stuff out.
