Review: Excellent quality and light weight, very impressed so far - used as boom mic stand - I was really impressed with the quality, especially for the price. I've used it as a boom mic stand. I use the boom arm that comes with it and a 1/4 inch adapter to put a boom mic on. I've used it at full extension and it holds it fine without the weight bag, but have also used the weight bag just to give it a bit better balance. There was no need for me to get an adapter to put my boom pole on the stand. Excellent quality, very sturdy for the weight of it - which is very light to carry. Doesn't come with a carrying case would be the only downside but not surprised for the price.

I was really impressed with the quality, especially for the price. I've used it as a boom mic stand. I use the boom arm that comes with it and a 1/4 inch adapter to put a boom mic on. I've used it at full extension and it holds it fine without the weight bag, but have also used the weight bag just to give it a bit better balance. There was no need for me to get an adapter to put my boom pole on the stand. Excellent quality, very sturdy for the weight of it - which is very light to carry. Doesn't come with a carrying case would be the only downside but not surprised for the price.
