I have a doggie door that I remove every evening. I live in an apartment and cannot fix the door properly, so there are gaps. And my dogs are afraid of the flap. This means bugs have a free entry into my home. So, I use this as a bug deterrent. It works - mostly. And it doesn't look too horrible. It looks a bit odd from the outside, I don't care. I love the color. I have it folded in triple as I didn't need it to spread out and I wanted it thicker. It is much thinner to spread out than the picture would have you believe. Now, that being said - it serves its purpose and it doesn't frighten my dog that has cataracts. Works for me. If they ever come up with a dark purple, violet, or plum; then I will replace this one.
