It was given to a 12 year old who loved it!!! **Q: Are there replacement bars?** A: Not with this kite. I don’t know if they’re offered but I’m not paying to have them replaced. **Q: How do you put this thing together???** A: Its terrible, cheap and so complicated to fly and put together, for me it was a mistake buying it **Q: From what is this kite made? Is it nylon or paper?** A: More of a Nylon material, verses plastic or paper. It's not thick like higher priced kites, thinner material than those little outdoor flags/banners people put on a stick in a garden or near their front door. Better material than a paper kite or plastic. I have not had a chance to fly mine yet, but did catch the wind in the driveway. The kite would get into the air, hang for a moment and then spin and nose dive to the ground.Unlike other reviewers, the kite did not break, so I would say that it is very sturdily built because it crashed many...... many times without breaking. But the kite will not stay in the air. I don't know if the kite is too top heavy or if it is the shape of the beak, but something points the head down and goes for broke.... literally.
