Review: A lot bigger and heavier than expected - I got a food processing machine from Asia as a gift and needed a reliable transformer that can accommodate 800v or larger. I liked the look (was planning on leaving on a countertop) and the display window but it was a lot bigger and heavier. I only used it once but didn't notice any noise. I did have to return the first delivery because it wouldn't turn on.

I got a food processing machine from Asia as a gift and needed a reliable transformer that can accommodate 800v or larger. I liked the look (was planning on leaving on a countertop) and the display window but it was a lot bigger and heavier. I only used it once but didn't notice any noise. I did have to return the first delivery because it wouldn't turn on.

It worked fine for about 1month, then it wouldn't turn on anymore. This is the 2nd unit I purchased. The 1st unit never worked; it always reported over voltage. I was able to return that one. This one having worked for about 1 month, I'm now out of the return window. If you buy one, you're rolling the dice. I hope yours works.
