I cut a watermelon, a cantaloupe, and a lemon (I normally only use my special small knife to cut lemons and limes) and it was impressive for all 3.

Great knife for the price. Keeps it's edge really well, and the handle is just a little textured for a solid grip. The handle is exactly the right size for my hand (6' female). If your a large guy, this handle is likely to be in the small side. I'm buying one for all 3 adult kids for Christmas.
