My everyday writer! (Terrible start)
Ok I have to be honest, when I first got this pen I absolutely HATED it. I wanted to like it because it’s so stylish and has a nice weight to it. It really feels like a more expensive pen. BUT when I wrote with it for the first time I used the standard ink cartridge that came with it and my experience was awful. The ink was leaking, it was super inconsistent stroke wise. So I stashed it away not really thinking about it. Recently I ordered a new bottle of ink and wanted to try it out. I took the whole pen apart, cleaned it and put it back together. This time used the ink converter. It is now my everyday writer. I’m obsessed! So my advice would be- use the converter! Also, I bought the fine nib but it writes more like a medium. Overall super happy with the pen after some tinkering! 👌🏽

Good Pen
Very nice pen. writes well, and feels good in the hand. Color is very dark blue though. appears more black, except when in direct light.

Fantastic pen, fantastic price
This was my very first Picasso pen. I fell in love with it and purchased 2 more not long after. It arrived pretty quickly from China in a beautiful presentation box. The pen is, simply put, stunning. The black with the gold trim lends a richness to the appearance and the craftsmanship is wonderful. It writes very well, simply gliding across paper, both cheap copy paper as well as really nice writing papers (Rhodia and Clairefontaine). The nib is a medium, has ever-so-slight line variation without being a stub and is perfectly balanced. I personally don't like to post the cap when writing, but it posts securely if you do prefer to post it. I carry this pen with me most days since it has a very rich appearance, yet it's inexpensive enough to make me not break out in hives at the thought of misplacing it. People often comment on it when they see me writing with it because it's such a striking-looking pen. More importantly, however, is the writing performance is without fault. I love it and highly recommend this brand and pen. It's well-worth the (low) price. The only possible thing I wish was a little bit different, is the glossiness shows fingerprints more than I would like, but I simply wipe it with a soft cloth every now and again and all is well.

Great for looks, okay for usage...
Overview:5 stars for looks, material, and feel of the pen, but the nib and feeder is a 3-star.Pros:The construction material is very solid. Does not feel poorly from the barrel to the converter. The design, both on the outside and inside, is beautiful and makes the user feel like the pen should cost more than $21.The converter is an international converter, which is very useful if ever need a replacement, and function properly when filling to full capacity.Cons:The pen runs very dry. It needs adjustment if the user prefers wet.Occasionally the pen would skip for quick gestures. I'm not a speed writer and yet this would still happen. The nib does not run smoothly on paper. It's a little bit scratchy and provides some resistant when writing, even more than with a mechanical pen. Conclusion:If you're looking for a fountain pen mainly for looks and occasional usage, this is THE PEN FOR YOU. If you like your pen to be functional for frequent usage, I recommend getting a Pilot Metropolitan Medium ($9-$14) or a TWSBI ECO Fine ($27-$32) fountain pen. Both would sever you better than this decorative device. (Pilot fountain pen are Japanese standardize, therefore the medium nib is a westerner fine nib.)

The ink flow is choppy at best. Perhaps it is an issue with the nib ...
The pen is definitely attractive, but as far as ink flow, it is quite sub par, unfortunately. I have washed it in mild soap, tested it on different paper weights and inks to no avail. The ink flow is choppy at best. Perhaps it is an issue with the nib design. I may give the Picasso's ONE MORE try, and purchase another model and see if it is a matter of a fluke nib. I think the manufacturer could do a little better at QA'ing their products to ensure a better writing performance...Update as of 4-12-18: Amazon will NOT refund my money because this order was past their 30 day return policy!Update: 4-21-18 Ok...I went ahead and bought another pen like the previous one....same sub-par performance. Ink dries up between uses; I would like any feedback concerning inks that work well with this pen, or I am calling this one a dud.Update: 4-23-18 Success! I found an ink sold by Hobby Lobby ("Manuscript" brand) that works GREAT with this pen. So...the Picasso pen has redeemed itself in my book and I will be purchasing more from this seller who deserves a great rating because if his willingness to help me with the previous issues I had with other pens. Thanks Dean!

ugly
The pen works well and is mechanically well manufactured. I chose the green model. Which is black, with a few weird ugly green sparkle smears. How hard is it to marble plastic? What I thought would be a real treat to use and look at now just reminds me of cheap stuff. 100% meh. Maybe I will give it away.

Very nice pen!
Was hesitant about Picasso pens given the Chinese manufacturing. But many name brand pens are made in China and I’ve bought three. Designs are eye-catching, pens write smoothly and reliably.

High Quality, Low Price
I bought this pen so I could use different color inks for journal entries. I'm very happy with it since it is very well made. The cap makes a very satisfying and precise "click" when it is replaced. You can tell this pen is manufactured with high precision and is worth much more than they charge for it. It also comes very well packaged and would make a great gift.

Me gustó mucho.
