Review: Worked like a charm. Why didn't I think of this earlier? - My office chair moves in directions I do not like. I have tried replacing the caster wheels with bell guides on my heavy office chair. They did make the chair immovable; however, they also made moving it feel very heavy. Doesn't work for me. When I saw caster wheels with locks, I thought to myself, now why didn't I think of that earlier, before I bought the bell guides? I read in the review that you can lock 1-2 wheels, which will make the chair not glide as easily, yet it is still movable when you need it to. So, I went ahead and purchased these to test them. Very easy to install, just remove the bell guides and snap these in. Locking the wheels is very easy. But I do worry about the level snapping if I use it frequently. Fantastic. Worked like a charm. I am so delighted with this. I will just be very careful when I use the lever to lock/unlock the wheels.

**Q: Do you use the breaks often, or can you do without the breaks? I'm doubting between the ones with the break and the ones without.**
A: I do use at least one brake if I'm at my desk working on something.  I slide away from my desk gradually if I don't.  Also you can just nudged the one brake up when your ready to move again.

**Q: Will these fit Herman Miller Aeron?**
A: According to their site, these are the correct stem for the Herman Miller Aeron. 7/16" by 7/8" grip ring stem fastener which is what these are. These move so much better than twin wheels and are so much quieter and softer. Great upgrade.

**Q: Will these fit the secretLab Titan chair?**
A: Yea

**Q: okay for exterior use ?  (on a swimming pool reel)**
A: I installed on rolling chair for garage and they work great on concrete with my 210 pounds. I also have a mechanical pool cover and I don’t see why they would not work if your cover is set up for that kind of coaster. These just pop in an exciting mount made for them (most stools or rolling chairs have these), you will need to see how they will install on your pool cover. They are tough and durable if you can install them.

These wheels are so much better than plastic flimsy wheels. They lock, that easily roll, have good speed, are very quiet, and overall make sitting in a chair so much better all for a great price and the simplest upgrade. It makes my gaming chair ten times better.
