I'd originally purchased it to deal with squirrels, but only discourages them from being on the ground. It won't work on anything off the ground, such as when they race across the fence line or otherwise in the trees.So, definitely keep that in mind with placement and what you are protecting. In a plant bed or other area, it'll work fine. Just make sure that the device gets plenty of sun and that you keep the solar cells clean. (A little bit of Windex and paper towel work fine.) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's working so far *by Z***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2017* I didn't expect this to work but it did. We had a family of ground squirrel eating chicken eggs. So we would only get 2 eggs a day. Day one squirrels left their burrow. Still eating eggs. Day 3 we have 6 eggs. No squirrels.
