I've owned this thing for about 20 minutes now, but I have to say it's already my favorite general purpose mouse. I bought it for a laptop with a faulty touchpad and figured I'd get the ridiculous pink color since I already have another logitech that looks exactly the same but in a different color and that I use for another PC at my desk. This was worth every penny.Here's why I'm so happy so far:1) Easy opening packaging. It looked like annoying plastic that is impossible to open but they left a tear away portion in the back. I always appreciate not having to risk dismemberment opening packages2) I didn't realize this was a quiet mouse. It's great. Almost completely silent. It's 2023, people. We shouldn't need to hear an incessant CLICK every time a mouse button is clicked. I owned a silent mouse a long time ago and I have to say I forgot how much I missed it as soon as I started using this.3) Included a battery so I was ready to go as soon as I removed the dongle from the back of the mouse4) Competitively priced. You could buy a knock off unknown Chinese brand that Amazon is completely flooded with these days or buy an actual real product from a real company that invests in their production, customer support, and product development. I own at least a dozen Logitech peripherals from mouses (mice?) to keyboards to webcams and most of them I have owned for 5 to 10 years. No problems.5) Good ergonomics. It's compact while still being comfortable. Like I said, I had another mouse that has the same design but a different color. The design works. I appreciate that there is some continuity here over the years with their design. The human hand hasn't changed much in the last several thousand years, we shouldn't need to reinvent the mouse just to make it look cool at the expense of comfort and usability.5/5 stars. It glides smoothly on most surfaces and fits perfectly in my hands. If you have big hands, I would say that this mouse may be too small for you.
