Rather than using a spirit based degreaser I wanted something that would not produce toxic fumes. Our pets regularly go into the garage for their food and litterbox so keeping the environment safe was a thing. Plus my wife is very sensitive to fumes from distillates. So I tried ZEP and was absolutely sold on it from the first use. I generally use it full strength but it works just fine diluted. Greasy rags, engine grease and other challenges all respond well to an application of this. My practice is to pour some into a spray bottle, maybe add a little water on occasion, then apply and let it sit for a few minutes. Oil and grease on the floor comes right off, the bike engine and even my rags all come clean when using this. Just bought another gallon which lasts me at least a year with regular use. Review: My GO TO degreaser for EVERY SINGLE JOB - I’ve been using Zep Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser for years, and there’s a reason I buy it in four one-gallon containers at a time. It has become my go-to cleaner for almost everything around the house. What I love most is how versatile the concentrate is. I keep a diluted mixture in a spray bottle for everyday cleaning, and I also add it to my mop bucket for larger cleaning jobs. Because it’s concentrated, you only need a small amount, so a single gallon lasts an incredibly long time. It easily cuts through kitchen grease, cleans my range hood, removes soap scum in the shower, and handles countless other tough messes with very little scrubbing. I’ve tried plenty of degreasers over the years, but I always come back to this one because it consistently gets the job done. The fact that one gallon lasts so long makes it an excellent value, and buying multiple gallons at once ensures I never run out of a cleaner I use almost daily. If you want a powerful, versatile degreaser that goes a long way, this is one I can confidently recommend. ## Features - Great To Use On: Appliances, Grills, Stovetops, Concrete, Tools, Engines, Fiberglass, Aluminum, Stainless Steel And Kitchen Surfaces - GREAT TO USE ON: Appliances, grills, stovetops, concrete, tools, engines, fiberglass, aluminum, stainless steel and kitchen surfaces - DO NOT USE ON: Glass, acrylic glass, plastics, auto paint, leather or natural stone surfaces - ZEP PRO TIP: Allow extra time for product to dissolve grease around cooking spaces and ovens as thicker buildup occurs here - Multi-Purpose Cleaner and Degreaser with Natural Citrus Solvent ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001B1AIM2 | | Brand | Zep | | Brand Name | Zep | | Cleaning Agent Formulation | Degreaser | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 6,254 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00021709009149 | | Included Components | Zep GAL HVY DUTY CITRUS DEGREASER ZUCIT128 | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Type Name | Enforcer Zucit128 128-Ounce Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser Refill | | Item Volume | 0.25 cubic feet | | Item Weight | 9 pounds | | Manufacturer | Zep Commercial | | Material Feature | Natural | | Material Features | Natural | | Model Number | 074028 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 074028 | | Scent | Citrus | | Size | 128 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Special Features | Residue Free | | Specific Uses For Product | Countertop | | Surface Recommendation | Stove, Grill, Concrete, Tools, Engines, Fiberglass, Aluminum, Stainless Steel | | UPC | 021709009149 021709017595 | | Unit Count | 128 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Zep - **Item Form:** Liquid - **Material Feature:** Natural - **Scent:** Citrus - **Specific Uses For Product:** Bottle ## Images ![Zep Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser Cleaner Concentrate - 1 Gallon (1 Unit) ZUCIT128 - Restaurant Grade Degreaser and Cleaner Removes Oil, Grease, Adhesive, and Kitchen Soil - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51NRznJndDL.jpg) ![Zep Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser Cleaner Concentrate - 1 Gallon (1 Unit) ZUCIT128 - Restaurant Grade Degreaser and Cleaner Removes Oil, Grease, Adhesive, and Kitchen Soil - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qk1dmMn4L.jpg) ![Zep Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser Cleaner Concentrate - 1 Gallon (1 Unit) ZUCIT128 - Restaurant Grade Degreaser and Cleaner Removes Oil, Grease, Adhesive, and Kitchen Soil - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61IGbxRWO-L.jpg) ![Zep Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser Cleaner Concentrate - 1 Gallon (1 Unit) ZUCIT128 - Restaurant Grade Degreaser and Cleaner Removes Oil, Grease, Adhesive, and Kitchen Soil - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61zghCy182L.jpg) ![Zep Heavy-Duty Citrus Degreaser Cleaner Concentrate - 1 Gallon (1 Unit) ZUCIT128 - Restaurant Grade Degreaser and Cleaner Removes Oil, Grease, Adhesive, and Kitchen Soil - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/6166hDRBm8L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this product good for washing & restoring MicroFiber towels?** A: I would not recommend this product to be used on any cloth that is used to clean dishes, cups, pots, etc or used to clean food preparation surfaces or any cloth that contacts skin. It is a powerful degreaser and cleaner strong enough to take the finish off of some surfaces if left on undisturbed for several hours. There are food grade degreaser available on the market but this is not one of those. For general cleaner that soap can't handle this product is excellent. **Q: Can this be usef to clean painted walls** A: Hello, Amazon Customer I used this product to clean my painted walls and I had no problems with it. Make sure to mix it well with water. You can’t just use it by it self it’s to strong for the paint. **Q: Which degreaser would be best for cleaning a bicycle chain or would you recommend something?** A: This is what I use. Works great. It's all the same stuff as in the bike shop - this one is just cheap! It'll last a good long while, a little bit goes a long way. **Q: Do you mix this with water?** A: Hello, you don’t need to mix it with water. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best degreaser I've tried. *by M***K on September 30, 2026* All of my motorcycle maintenance is performed by myself resulting in minor oil spills on the garage floor. I am impressed by how well this product works. In the past I have tried a variety of soap based cleaning products that can bardly touch the grease that accumulates on a range hood. ZEP acts more like a solvent and effectively softened the grease. It also has very little odor and is safer than some of the aggressive degreaser products (no chemical is 100% safe, so make sure to read and follow the safety recommendations). --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/45114350-zep-heavy-duty-citrus-degreaser-cleaner-concentrate-1-gallon-1](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/45114350-zep-heavy-duty-citrus-degreaser-cleaner-concentrate-1-gallon-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
