Review: Works, easy setup, well worth the price - Came with no instructions. Was supposed to include the user manual, but no documentation included!?!? When I originally plugged it in, I thought it was DOA. No power, no lights, nothing. Decided to pack it up for return, but instead, I then decided to try a different power wire since the one in my box looked old/ damaged. Unit powered right up... Contacted seller to request a new power cord and was asked for my shipping address for the replacement to be sent right out. Hopefully it'll be received within the next few days. I was told to make sure to obtain/ use the power cord that is supposed to be provided because using a different power supply COULD damage the item after time. So far, so good (using my own power supply), but will return if any issues/ damage within the return window due to the replacement wire being used. Didn't really speed up my connection as i had already been using a similar modem/ router combo. This was a replacement, but i can honestly say the price is excellent as compared to others. This DID help with my connection constantly "dropping" throughout the day (which is why I needed the replacement), and was pretty easy to set up. No issues providing MAC address to ISP, came online right away with no issue. Now I'll just wait for the wire... Review: Excellent Modem and Router Combo with Spectrum; Easy set-up , speed is awesome. Signal is strong. - I am very pleased with this modem/router combo.
