Just in a way that makes them easier to remove. Which I almost never do. I know they're not real gold but the quality is incredible for the price. I wear them to shower, sleep, exercise and they haven't tarnished at all. If you can get over the awkwardness of the clasp in the first few uses, they're a great buy.*******I watched the video and managed to get it open but it’s practically impossible to close the clasp once it’s in your ear. Forget about trying this if you have long nails. It’s a real bummer because the earring is really pretty otherwise.
