When you open the compartment to install the batteries- it says in big letters inside-FOR USE WITH ALKALINE BATTERIES ONLY (LR03) - it also comes with 2 of them. I’ve enclosed foto of that. Don’t replace the batteries with lithium ion batteries or anything but alkaline LR03. For the good stuff-the remotes are awesome. Pair easily and you can set 4 different modes then adjust the brightness by pressing the plus or minus to increase or decrease dimming. It’s that simple, you just have to set your favorite modes up in the app and that’s it. They will be available on your remote. Another thing to note is, they will control the bulbs that they are connected to for example, if you only have one bulb in the room and you pair it with that, it will control that one bulb but if you group all the bulbs together, let’s say you have seven bulbs in the room, and you put them in a group, they will all be controlled by the remote simultaneously.
