**Q: Can/should this be used as a base coat or as a 'stand-alone'?  If it can be used as a base coat, can it be used under Miracle Gel Polish?**
A: HI there! Thank you for your question. We suggest using our Sally Hansen Repair and Rescue Bi-Phase Serum without nail polish. Apply daily to clean, bare nail and cuticles. Massage in. Shake until serum turns purple to activate. For extra dry cuticles apply more frequently. We do not recommend using any other base or top coats with our Miracle Gel. The Miracle Gel™ Color and Top Coat work together as a system to create a durable manicure with high gloss shine. Formula ingredients are key. It is designed to work with only using Miracle Gel primer, color, and base coat.
