It covers the whole width of the steps which my other metal guard I had did not. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works on a bunk bed *by T***R on May 22, 2022* I got my toddler a lofted bunk bed a little sooner than I should have. He loves it (sleeps on the bottom) and climbs to the top for fun (it looks like a clubhouse), but I didn’t feel safe leaving him in there alone at night. I wasn’t sure this would work. It did, and I am very happy. It’s one of those low lofts where the bottom bunk bed is on the floor. Perfect fit. Three year old who is very good at figuring out locks cannot remove it. Two thumbs up. It’s ugly (orange) and lightweight, feels like a durable, plastic coated cardboard, but it’s worth the price for the peace of mind. Sturdy enough. Safe enough.
