If you do not , you will use up all of the carrier which has no lubricant and the lube clumps at the bottom of the bottle. Total waste! Also finish line chunks can clog the nozzle of the bottle. The white lightning has a see through bottle so it's obvious when you need to shake it. If some chunks settled, shake it again.
