They don’t leave residue on hard surfaces - though watch out using it on light particle board, and what residue they do leave behind on the organizer itself, usually rubbing your thumb back-and-forth a little bit will help peel it right off, and then you could find some other adhesive and use it again if you want. If you have a lot of cables that either jut out from behind desks, or don’t look that neat plugged in near your living room end table, whatever - there are a ton of uses for these. In this pack, even though a couple are may be impractical, is large enough that, unless you have a whole slew of cables you’re trying to manage, it will last you a good long time. You might run into some issues when one is designed to fit three cables, and the cables you’re fitting in there are sort of thick, but if you put them in the channels strategically in the correct order, you can pretty much work around that problem.
