We really needed to patch our plaster in the bathroom and our quote was thousands for what took us a week to do on our own, here and there, with this tool. You have to get the spackle spread evenly, bring the handle down the wall at an angle that keeps the blade flat, and smooth it out as you go. When you do that, you have a great result. Rebuilding plaster walls with only spackle leaves so much room to get curved or ripply walls but ours turned out great. The blade came out of the handle once but it was a matter of reinserting it and screwing it in tighter. Definitely saved us a ton of money. Review: Definitely worth it for the price - I don't normally do reviews but I had to on this one. I've been looking at a bunch of different blade sets and this one caught my eye for the price.
