When I take them, they are coming out "the other end" hard and still intact!** A: As far as I can tell it should be a tightly packed brownish powder but not rock hard. Use jello or large glass of water and relax your throat as you swallow. If you can't do that, this product also comes in liquid tincture form, however the taste of the liquid is VERY unpleasant. Otherwise it comes in a huge oblong tablet, which is difficult for anyone to swallow... stick to these. They're well worth it.
