Review: A Long Search For A Good Chair Ends - I have a bad back and I work from home. I've previously come across no chair that helps my back. I've had a lot of them over the years, from your Office Depot special to a cheap Chinese gaming chair. After my back kept giving me trouble while sitting in said cheap Chinese gaming chair, I made the decision to get the Titan. They'd come highly recommended by other techies and I figured the price would be worth it if it would help me get through work better. I've had it a few days now and have been quite pleased with the product. My back hasn't been troubling me nearly as much. I find myself actually wanting to settle into the chair and let it support me, instead of leaning forward and slouching all the time. The cheap Chinese gaming chair started creaking after a few days. The Titan is still whisper quiet. I fully expect this chair will hold up for many years. The entire frame, including the base, is made of metal. The leatherette covering is soft and supportive. The cushions are sturdy. They may be a little firm at first, but I can tell I'm gently breaking them in. When I was assembling the chair, I knew it was different. Ordinarily, the seat and the backrest are completely separated, and you have to use the arms to connect both pieces. Not the case with the Titan. One of the brackets attached to the seat was locked in place, and you're instructed to fit the backrest to it first. It was locked at an angle that ensured the screws didn't crossthread. After tightening all the screws on old chairs, I could still detect wobbliness between the backrest and seat. Not so with the Titan. It appears to live up to its name. Overall, it is a fantastic product. The price is well worth it.

Seat is firm but not hard and conforms after a few days to your body. Lumbar support is very good adjustment is nice. Backrest is hard at first, if you are used to a very soft chair and most likely bad posture the chair may hurt your back as you adjust to sitting properly Cons: My backrest came with crooked logo stitching. After a week the lumbar support has begun to pop loudly and creak when I sit against it. It does not effect the functionality or comfort of the chair but is very annoying and worries me for longevity. The height adjustment knob also came with cosmetic damage. I have contacted Secretlab support and I am waiting to hear back. For the price things like this shouldn't be an issue. Updated Sept 2022: SecretLab support responded and after verifying my various issues they shipped me a replacement backrest. I don't know if the first one was just defective or old stock from a previous revision but the replacement's foam is much softer and the lumbar support seems to actually move up and down where previously it felt as if it barely moved which I thought was just how it was designed. The stitching is also perfect. One defect is the threads in one of the mounting holes was damaged and took some effort to install. Everything else is good and the chair is more comfortable than it was before.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You have to get used to it.

When I first sat in this chair, I hated it. Now hear me out, it takes like 20 minutes or so to put it together. After I paid the crazy high price for this and put a lot of work into building it I wanted to love it immediately. I didn't. I sat down and immediately hated how it felt. It felt like a wooden seat in comparison to my older chair. But after using it for over a week I began to like it more and more. It's not memory foam, it's firm. Which is good! It works really well as a chair. It's what it needs to be. Some people use this once and hate it and get rid of it. You have to get used to it. I was not gonna be able to package this up to return it so maybe I'm compensating for the price I paid by just getting used to it? Either way 60+ hours sitting in it so far and I like it. Amazing build quality. Wish it were cheaper though.
