They stack up so well so they don't take up a lot of space and can be setup again in less than a minute. This was a gift for my 3 year old and she took to it like a fish to water. It is very sturdy, the colors and very bright and easy to assemble. After my child mastered walking across the river heel to toe, she began to use it for other purposes (building and pretending a section is something else like a shovel, car or flower). Another plus is the rubber on the bottom of each piece, they have not left any marks on our wood floors even after being dragged across the room.
