It actually looks like regular jewelry so nobody would think anything of it if you were wearing your sunglasses on your face and not having it hooked to the necklace. The reason I took off one star for this is because the circle is a little bit on the small side. It's about the size of a nickel. Some sunglasses won't fit securely through that hole and will result in them falling.
