He has not been able to mess up anything chewing, and it's held his weight perfectly maintaining the tension and comfort. He has wolverine claws for nails and has a habit of scratching this one spot consistently throughout the night every time he adjusts himself, and it took a year for it to finally turn into a hole. I have been so impressed with this bed! I'll even go through the trouble of dragging it out of his kennel so he can take it when he boards on vacations! Despite the fact that he managed to create a hole- it has stayed in one spot and not spread or torn bigger! Continue to be impressed!
