They shipped the knife in oil I’m guessing to keep it safe, the blade is beautiful and there was a protective piece of plastic on the tip. The wooden handle is beautiful and the detailing is to die for. I’ll probably will be getting a second one for myself (: the sheath is also so pretty and looks very sturdy I’m super excited to give this to him I highly recommend buying this knife. A: Yes, it is full tang knife.

**Q: Where are these knives produced**
A: I am not really sure.  But I am fairly confident they are not made in mainland China as I purchase nothing made there.  They may have been made in Taiwan, but the quality is very good.  And I do purchase stuff from Taiwan.

**Q: Could I attach this to my slip on cowboy boot securely**
A: There is no clip on the sheath

This is very solid and well built. The Damascus steel and rosewood are gorgeous. It was not very sharp out of the box and the tip was slightly bent. Easy enough to fix. The sheath is decent but generic, clearly not made for this specific knife. But it fits snuggly and looks good. Great buy for $40.
