I didn’t even know what the flowers smelled like, only that somewhere in the world, people were turning them into drinks and jams and pastries. The yellow flowers seem fresh. It’s not fruity, and it’s not floral in the same way jasmine tea is. It’s mildly sweet, and to me it has a slight sour note. I brew a roughly 600 ml pot using two full teaspoons. I let the water boil and then cool for about two minutes before steeping the tea, and I let it brew for about two to three minutes. I drink it plain, and I enjoy it. I haven’t researched how it’s meant to be enjoyed, or what should accompany it.
