Nice enough to give a 4 star review I'm not entirely sure it deserves. I wish it had the ability to enhance my reading experience functionally as well as it does aesthetically.I prefered the thumb-mostly-through grip over the grip shown in other images. It felt more natural, and covered less of the page. However, all grip styles will frequently break your immersion and demand your attention. Hold on, Stephen King, I'll find out what happens to the main character in a minute. First, I have to fiddle with this thing on my finger.There are three annoyances which have to be micromanaged as you're reading. The first one was obvious even before I ordered. Unless your book has gigantic bottom margins, it's going to cover the page. Unless you have x-ray vision, this is going to be a frequent annoyance.The second annoyance happens when shifting from reading the left page to the right page. An effortless transition without this accessory. I found myself uncomfortably twisting my wrist unless I switched hands between the left and right page. The subtle shift of angles is enough to warrant the exchange. Due to the asymmetrical nature of the updated angled thumb hole design, this also means flipping the accessory vertically while changing hands.Lastly, when turning the page, this means the whole accessory hand swap fliparoo described above, while also juggling turning the page.Of course, none of these annoyances are necessarily hard to overcome, but they're a lot of inconveniences for a product that's supposed to make reading more convenient. I tried the device with a few different books, hardcover and softcover, big and small, to see if that made a difference. It did not.
