A: This is a grill and not a fryer. However, the item I received was not what was advertised in the photo. The grill I have came without the lid and is a different size. I hope you got what you ordered.

This a neat little grill. I really appreciate the lockable lid for transport. Used it to grill steaks and when I finished, I closed the top vent and left the bottom vent halfway open (or closed) and left the lid on. I checked it this morning I looked and found that it smothered my coals and left me plenty to use in my next fire. Yes, it is a great grill. Convenient, portable, efficient, good quality, decent price and easy to pack around. I definitely recommend this grill. I would absolutely purchase one again!

I know a bit about grilling, and I'm giving this little Gas One charcoal grill 5 stars mainly because it's worth the price. Assembly is fairly easy, and it's got a nice little lifter tool for lifting the top grill off of the fire. It works great as an open grill - not using the cover while cooking - but it takes time to get used to using it with the cover. Real good grillin! It's a great little compact grill and worth the price.

We have used this twice and it works very well with charcoal briquettes. It is the perfect size for two people, and we actually do not have indoor storage for the winter, but it held up nicely under a blanket of snow. Looking back, we should have covered it with a small tarp or similar, but the finish is just fine. It was easy to assemble easy to use and is easy to clean. Very portable.
