Go look for a video on youtube called how to put on a rubber grip by Bryant Billiards and the guy does a super fast demo (it's not my video). The gist of it is that you assemble your cue and slide the grip down the skinny end as far as it goes without stretching it out or deforming it. Then you roll it up like a donut off the end of the cue and fix the tail end of the grip. Finally, you roll it back down to where you want it on the butt end, roll it back out and you're done. The grip itself feels great. I have an Irish linnen wrap and wanted to try something a little gripper without springing for a spendy predator cue or whatever.
