It was quite an ordeal each night with food being thrown and bowls leaving the highchair. If I didn't want food everywhere I had to hold the bowl the entire time. I didn't like this, nor did my daughter. I've been looking at the ezpz silicone placemat bowl for a long time but never purchased it because they're too wide for my cult classic IKEA Antilop highchair. When I randomly came across this product, I immediately purchased it.THINGS TO LOVE:•The suction on this placemat is impressive. If I push, pull or tug on the silicone bowl the placemat does NOT budge. It's proven to be just as impressive with my daughter. I've been using this daily for several weeks and so far she has not been able to throw/lift this bowl. And believe me, she tries. TIP: Don't let your child see you remove the placemat from the table/highchair. This is a huge reason why this placemat has been so successful for us.•Large capacity. This bowl will hold exactly 12oz if filled to the top.•The silicone bowl is very thick and sturdy. However, the silicone on the bottom part, the actual placemat, is much thinner.•The color is beautiful. It's exactly as shown. A beautiful mint color.•No stains! Berries, carrots and sweet potatoes are a daily staple in my house and this mat still looks brand new.•So easy to wash. I prefer to wash this by hand, as I do with all of my daughter's eating supplies. But I did throw it into the dishwasher to sanitize it before the first use.Overall, I highly recommend this placemat. It's perfect for the IKEA highchair, or any highchair for that matter. It does exactly what it should and is also a beautiful piece.
