I gray will connect to an identical gray, red to red, etc. **Q: How do you aseemble the connectors? I soldered the wire to the funny looking terminal. But how do you insert that spade lug into the connector?** A: You should just be able to insert the wire contacts (lugs) into the end of the connector housing that has the rounded opening. You will notice that there are retention springs inside the housings that will hold the contact in place once you insert the wire/contact far enough.
