It does not damage clothes and doesn't hurt the skin at all while wearing or while coming off! It comes with a neat little case that slides open, but the case stays at home. I do put a few strips in my bag though in case they are needed. Each strip has really easy peel marks so simple to use, but protected if you want to carry a few around. I'm not sure it will hold up doing something really athletic where you sweat, or swimming all day, but for normal activity it seems to work just fine.
