**Q: What is the odor of this grease? Strong petroleum, inert, etc.?**
A: This is a "near Vaseline-colored" lubricant, but its its less viscous (sticky), making thin-coat applications possible.  It has no noticeable odor, and does have a "holdup it up close to your nose" petro-chemical smell and not noticeable at all when applied.  I recommend it for the applications intended.  Label says "protects against tribocorrosion good wear protection", and another states that it has a product information leaflet.  Also, based in Munchen (Munich) Germany, Kluber had it NSF certified, which is like the Euroean CE (Cenelec) certification.  NSF website notes that this certification means its been tested to meet their standards . Pricey, but I recommend it.
