After a few years the requirement was dropped. The expiration is 3 years from the manufacturing date that is on the tube. You just need to look at the first 4 digits of the manufacturing code. I will use todays date as an example. If it was manufactured today it would read 8E0XXXXX. Disregard all the other numbers. So the 8 is the day of the month, the letter E stands for May and the alphabet starts with A as January and continues for each month, skipping the letter I. The last number is for the year it was manufactured, using the last digit of that year. So this code means it was manufactured the 8th day of May 2020.
