It would last longer in a cooler but I was using it to keep trays of water cold. Hasn't leaked and all round does a good job. I can't compare it to others but I've definitely gotten use out of it on these hot days, so I'd say it's worth it. Each one is about the height of a 500ml monster can and as long as 1 and a half cans. It's thickness is about half a can.
