A: I’ve measured it as best I can, it’s  6 inch’s

**Q: Is the chair more of a silver colour please**
A: Hi. It is grey with a flock or brushed effect.  Just like many cars which are sold as silver they look grey to most people, if that makes sense.  I am very pleased with the chair, which I have in a bedroom, but it is not like a proper high back armchair to sit in.  Hope this helps.
