Permatex’s Medium-Strength Thread locker Blue is ideal for all nut and bolt applications 1/4″ to 3/4″ (6mm to 20mm). Thread locker Blue eliminates need for stocking expensive lock nuts and lock washers and locks and seals while preventing parts loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Thread locker BLUE is easily removable with hand tools for easy disassembly. Permatex Blue Oem Specified As 242 All-Purpose Medium Strength Thread Locker Ideal For All Nut And Bolt Applications 1/4" To 3/4" (6Mm To 20Mm) Eliminates Need For Stocking Expensive Lock Nuts And Lock Washers Locks And Seals While Preventing Parts Loosening Due To Vibration Protects Threads From Corrosion Removable With Hand Tools For Easy Disassembly Temperature Range -65 Deg F To 300 Deg F     Recommended Use Applications Valve Cover Bolts Water Pump Bolts Oil Pan Bolts Drive Shaft Bolts Rocker Arm Adjustment Nuts And Carburetor Studs Please Note That This Product Needs Air To Work Properly And Be More User Friendly Therefore Bottle May Look Empty Carded    Turn dial to expose 1/8″ to 1/4″ of material beyond tip. Apply thread locker to leading edge of male fitting, covering 5 to 6 threads. Avoid direct contact of tip to metal surface  Assemble parts and tighten to recommended torque  Replace protective cap  If contact occurs, expose 1/16” of material and wipe off with a clean towel  Temperature range: -65°F to 300°F (-54°C to 150°C).
